Cathy,

Nn general the colors are accurate, espaecially the pinks, reds,
because of blood. But, being made of yarn and not guts makes them much
more pleasant to look at and the colors are more pleasing and less ...
how do I describe this? .... Okay, when you're looking at a dissected
frog, a real one, it's a lot messier than a knitted one. The principle
thing I notice is that the real frog's guts are all shiny. From the
blood and preservative fluids I suppose. Also, the tones of the colors
in the real frog are less stark in differences to one another. They're
more earthy. The knitted frog's colors are bolder, more like a
cartoon. It makes for a much happier visual experience.

Cheers,
Sarah M Sykes
