Terry asked:
I love it too, accept my beginning is to lacey. Have you tried it with a
different cast on method?

Well, as a matter of fact I have made an adaptation to the pattern, but
since I have not taken it off of the loom yet, I am not certain how it will
turn out. but it looks good so far.

What I did was to use the double eWrap cast-on, then instead of knitting the
Knit rows one over one, I knitted them 1 over 2. for the purl rows I had
the two loops on the loom from the row before and simply purled the bottom
loop over, leaving two loops on the loom.

The beginning rows are nice and dense with this method. What I am waiting to
find out is whether the cloth will lay flat when it is off of the loom. I
kind of wonder if I have created a new stitch with the way I did the purl. I
know I never heard it described anywhere. Instead I created it myself out of
a need to keep two loops on the pegs and get a dense fabric.
Perhaps it is called "purl one over 2."
Hope I explained this well. if anyone is confused, please post a message and
I will try to better explain.
Cathy
