Terry,

No, I double ewrapped to cast-on, then for the three K rows in the beginning
I knit one over two. Then for the 3 purl rows in the beginning of the
pattern, I wrapped a peg, then purled one over 2, (lifting up the bottom
loop of the two existing loops on the peg. 
Then I started the body of the dishcloth.
Hope you haven't gone home yet, but if so, you can read this tomorrow.
