About the book you mentioned Terry:

I wonder if that is the very book I used to learn macramé? Does it have a
pattern for a purse and a hanging table? I would like to get that book. I'm
thinking that perhaps Braille transcribing service may have it, since they
had Ann Porter's book on latch hooking patterns.
I will update the list if I hit pay dirt on this.
