Henry,

This particular soap sack is made using a flat stitch, with a seed stitch
pattern, skipping every other peg. There is an islet row made close to the
top. a drawstring is made with an I-cord. The sack is sewn closed at the
bottom using just six stitches.

Of course there are a variety of ways this sack can be made. the idea with
this particular sack was to create a tight weave with the flat stitch, room
for soap to get through with the mesh created with the seed stitch using
every other peg, and the drawstring for a closure.
