In order to reduce the price of my models, I have thought of providing just 
 the patterns, made of corrugated cardboard.  Each one could be tacked  to 
a sheet of corrugated cardboard, and the customer could cut around it  with 
an X-acto knife, until the required number of pieces for each pattern are  
made.
 
Does this seem like something that would work?
