Well, I have only done it with needles, but my limited loom knitting skills makes me think that it could be done on the loom.  As best as I can guess, you would need to skip the step where you wrap your working yarn around your slipped stitch before you turn your work and knit in the other direction.
Hopefully our more experienced loom knitters can provide a more definitive answer.
