I would be interested in a class like this if using needles.  2:00 or 3:00
is okay but not on Labor Day.

I do not think I can pull off starting as late as 4pm or 5pm as I need to me
dealing with dinner.  If it were at 2pm or 3pm on a Saturday, does that work
better?

You're right, the first Sunday is Labor Day weekend.  I would say 4:00 or
5:00 pm eastern time would be good.  I guess you could see how that works
for everyone who wants to take the class.  I personally would like it at
5:00 pm but, I'm not the only one interested in this class, I'm sure.

I believe that the first Sunday in September is labor Day weekend, so that
is out for me.  Yes, that would be 3pm eastern time.  Originally I had
thought 2pm, but after a discussion with Joyce I moved it to 3pm.  How late
would it have to start to be available to the west coast?

I've always wanted to learn how to do short row shaping.  Would this be 3:00
pm eastern standard time?  If so, that won't work for the west coasters,
like me.  Also, if it's on a Sunday, it can't be on the first Sunday in the
month because I have a commitment with the Human Services Division.  I don't
know about others but, those are my concerns.

Hi All,



I am tossing around the idea of teaching a 1 session Short-Row Knitted Scarf
Class.  It would be a Beginner-Plus level and require that you know how to
cast on, do the knit stitch and bind off.  You would learn how to do
short-row shaping.  I am looking at teaching it in September on a Sunday.
I'm thinking of starting the class at 3:00pm.  I'm guessing that it would
not last more than 1.5 or 2 hours.  Does this time frame typically work for
those of you interested in this class?  Let us know so that I can finalize
the class proposal and get it submitted.
