Hi Debbie,

Since you have a 3.5 inch diameter hole in your bead, perhaps the 325 craft
paracord that you can get from consumer crafts would work. I would try it
out for you, but do not know if I have any beads with that specific hole
diameter. However the 325 craft paracord is definitely skinnier than the
more common paracord which I believe is 425 or some number with the first
digit being a 4. 

If for some reason you or anyone else planning to take this class, can only
find the thicker paracord and you are unable to fit your cord through your
bead, a solution is to remove the inner part of the cord. This is what Carol
did, though I have never done this myself,  so don't exactly know how to
describe to you how to do that. But if you need to know, please post and
Jill or Carol can explain how it is done.
