If I can not find the stupid thumb drive that I have[it is one of these
very small things], I will go out and get one at NBest NBuy tomorrow.

No, I don't think your mp3 player will work. I can't explain why, but I
don't think it has exactly what is necessary.

Hey,

I have an older model of an MP3 player that you can plug into a USB port.

Can I use that to download the files on and then put into the player?

Do you think it will mess things up or it will act like a thumb drive?

I am looking for my plain thumb drive now, but not having any luck so far
finding it.

I am not sure how to tell about your authorization, but I know about
your third question. I use a thumbdrive to download books from bard all
the time, when my cartrige is not with me or I can't find my cord. I
don't see why there should be a limit on size, but one warning about
thumb drive. Unlike the cartrige, the player likes to mess up sometimes
especially if you move it around. It says cartrige error, or for some
reason sets you back a few chapters, or just reads how many books and
the battery again. If you keep it still though, it's usually fine. It's
just picky.
