There is a spray-on Scotch Guard which will keep water from soaking in.
Doubt that it would withstand soaking or immersing in water but you should
be able to wipe off drips and spots. Happy creating.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] waterproof sealer

I'm planning to transform a large pickle jar into a functional place to put
stirring spoons, spatulas etc while cooking. I'm looking for a waterproof
sealer that I can cover the outside of the jar with so it's washable and can
withstand drips. Any suggestions? I haven't decided whether it will be
paper or cloth I'll be applying to the jar's outside.

Thanks for any ideas!
