Hi Lily,

Caron simply soft is a medium-weight yarn that is very soft and on the
lighter side of medium. There are solids and ombres available in a variety
of colors to choose from as well. 
If you are looking for a particular color, let me know and I can send you
descriptions of some of the colorways. 
We had a class two years ago and an instructor described this yarn for us,
every color and which colors went with which.

I sure miss her!
