[Nfb-krafters-korner] crafting essentials to have on hand, relating to beading

Hi Lily,

The cord is thin but not stretchy. It is like fishing line but stronger and
sometimes has a waxed or plastic coding on it. it knots well and you can
make a necklace say 24 inches long to slip over the head without a clasp, or
attach a clasp using the bead caps that Maria mentioned.

My beading needles came in a plastic sleeve, and I try to remember to put
them back inside the sleeve when done. However, this last time I must have
temporarily placed it in one of my bead bags. Now I'll have to dip around in
the bead bags till I find it, ouch!

Meanwhile I have some fairly rigid plastic coded stretch cord that I can
thread through my 4mm and 6mm beads without a needle. I am making my
daughter a set of six different colored stretch bracelets for Xmas so she
will have one for every outfit or she can wear more than one to look extra
cool.

Cathy
