I contacted Joann  Wilson and asked her how to go about starting a division.  She told me I had to get some folks interested.  She put me  in touch with David Andrews about starting a list.  The list went up and  David Andrews put a notice up on the NFB lists about the new lists  available.  Folks gradually joined the list and that is how I got enough  folks interested to go to Dallas and have our first organizational meeting and  start the division. 
 The list went up September 1, 2007

Does your state have a state affiliate  newsletter?

Does your state have a publication or newsletter that is  for seniors, visually impaired?

These are the places to put a little  couple of paragraphs or heck write a story or anything in between and include  our website and tell folks what you are  doing over on Krafters  Korner.
