When I first started crafting and actually selling my items, I made slate cases and gave a small portion to my NFB chapter for a year or two.
I then donated to the church, twice, after learning how to knit on the loom, thanks to this group and now I gave to the Red Cross, also with thanks to the knowledge I obtained from this group.  Tonya Wheatly was my loom teacher and both Henry and I are passing our knowledge down the road.  There is a chance I might be able to sell some items at my church's Christmas shop, if the lady remembers to write me back.  I asked about it, Sunday.
