[Nfb-krafters-korner] Question about knitting looms

Hi Thank you for all the helpful info regarding looms, if Marie can advise
that would be great, but in the meantime I'll check around locally to see
what I can find.

Regards the classes. I could only see one email loom class and that has
closed, so I'll be sure to check when others come up, email is what I'd like
to join in at the moment.

I have a very iffy screen reader at present and not sure it this is why I am
not getting info as to whether classes are email or telephone until I
actually open up each class individually and read down to find if class is
email or telephone, is that how info is displayed or does this info show up
next to each class listed on main page?

In the meantime, it's very nice to be part of the craft group and I'll
definitely check out the loom situation in the city shops.

I'm sure it must be my screen reader, but I didn
see costs listed for classes either, so if I could be advised as to where
to look for charges? I see you have mentioned the first class is free.

Cheers. Valerie

Hello Valerie,
Welcome to our group. Wonderful that you are interested in loom knitting, we
have a lot of interested loomers on this list.

For a beginner, I suggest you purchase a set of round plastic looms. I
notice that you are from Australia, so perhaps Maria or one of the others
from there can jump in and give specifics as to where is the best place to
purchase the looms. Anyhow, the looms I am talking about come four in a
package and have pegs widely spaced apart so need thick yarn to use with
them.

We have beginners classes in learning to knit with a loom now posted on our
website for January and February. Why not get some looms and join the email
or phone class and learn to loom now.

If you have any further questions, please ask.

Your first class is free so you can see how you like us.

The website to sign up for classes is:
