Question, Is the hooded scard you are speaking about a Loom scarf with a
hood or a crochet scarf with a hood. I would be interested in taking a class
for a hooded scarf, but would like to take it in a regular crochet as I do
not take a loom with with me because of size. I will watch for a class
posting.

Looking forward to it!
I like working on the round loom better than the rake. Still have not
finished my first scarf on the rake loom!!! To busy with items on the round
loom. Hats by the many and a baby blanket and a few hand knitted items and
scarves by the few!

The one I just did was double knit on a large gauge long loom (knifty
knitter) using I believe a #5 yarn, the one I'm about to start will be
double knit on the AKB long loom using a single strand of #4 ya There is a
pattern for one done as a single knit flat panel on a round loom put out by
knifty knitter using only the e wrap, but I would modify the stitch pattern
to prevent curling of the edges.
Since I wear hearing aids it's hard for me to wear beanies and stocking caps
as it causes whistling of the aids, so the hooded scarf is perfect for me.
