[Nfb-krafters-korner] knitting with cotton

Linda
I hear you. Yarns can be so luxurious. For now this trial knitting cotton is
great. Plus I saw some expensive stuff that was scratchy, believe it or not.
I like some of the mixes too, silk, rayon.... Hand died, all that is readily
available here but until I can do it justice, this cheap stuff is great,
plus Alice says it's wild in a good way!

We have one about 35 minutes away from where I live - PA is very rural
overall - nothing anywhere in my immediate area. But, I like to buy custom
dyed and hand painted yarns so I order them from Vermont or some other
places - we do have a wonderful yarn store about 1 hour from my home that
deals in really special yarns, too.

>> Hello fello beginner knitters, and anyone else who might be interested.
>> Yesterday I had my neighbor, Alice, cast cotton yarn on a size 5

>> whenever I feel it is wide enough for my liking.
>> The nice thing about this method is that the scarf is very stretchy

>> from a more fancy place or with a fancy name.
