I had to reire in 1997 because of my hands, but I do volunteer work with Te American Red Cross. I have been volunteering since 2001. It's hard to believe that almost 13 years have gon. Tomorrow may be a day off due to weather conditions.

I am looking forward to learning new crafts. Everyone seems so nice onlist. I will wait until I hear more about the early bird special if there is one this year. In any case, I'm plugging away on my afghan and it's knitting up nicely.

Hope your day is good to you!

Hugs

Yes, you will learn to do anything you want to do, and there are people here who know so much - I have had lots of help during the last 3 years.
Raining here today, too, but not so cold as it had been. Glad I can stay home today and just get some things done. It is nice to be retired.

I love circular needles! I use the others sometimes, but they seem not to get the attention they had in the past! For afghans especially I love the circulars. One day, I'll learn as much about knitting as many of you have as I figure I'm not too old to learn. I'm hoping to teach myself other things from a book I have, and I know and have faith many of you will be happy to help me out! Smiles!

Might have to prematurely cancel my rides so I won't be made a "no show" for canceling in the morning! It's not fair things are done this way, but that's how it is in Okie land!
