I have paid my Chapter dues to the state of Connecticut and the state
affiliate pays a portion of the dues they receive from the chapter that
registeres each chapter member as a member of the state affiliate and of NFB. I
have paid my membership dues to the division plus other divisions that I am
a member of.
I would say, but not positive as I have not requested some type of proof
from each of our division officers or board members if they are a member of a
chapter, affiliate or at large member of NFB.
I have never received a membership card from any of the above as proof of
membership nor have I been asked for proof of membership.
This seems to be the policy of NFB and likewise we as a division follow
rules, regulations and policies of NFB.
I get updated membership lists from our treasurer within a week's time or
less from receipt of membership payment and if paid by PayPal I receive a
notice of payment within 24 hours.
No one has asked me these questions or any other questions, but I share
this information readily with everyone.
