[Nfb-krafters-korner] question for crocheters

You may also find an easy crochet project in a simple scarf that just
alternates two rows of single crochet with two rows of double crochet. Just
remember when you have finished your second row of single crochet to chain 2
stitches in order to make the turn in the same level as your first double
crochet stitch. Likewise, on your last double crochet row, chain 1 stitch
to begin your single crochet row.

I always like doing something simple like this after I've finished several
knit projects. It gives my hands a brake from two needles and is quite
relaxing not to consintrate on complicated stitches for a while. You will
see your crochetting straightening up nicely and if you find you've gotten
off track a bit, then you will only have to rip out a little and it will be
easy to keep track wich stitch you are crochetting in which row. Take one
of your pins and attach it to the front of your work and you will also be
keeping track of your front and back of your work.

Good luck and have fun!
