sorry, I did forget that part. seems as though this poncho project is a
disaster all around. wish I'd just kept quiet, for I have only muddied the
waters. <sad smile> sorry all.

yes, after placing marker on peg 39, you must knit all 39 pegs for 15, 16 or
17 inches depending on how large you want the bust of the poncho to be: 36,
40, or 44 inches.
then follow the rest of my steps as posted, that is if you still trust me?
