I do not have this set, but I find those quilted change purses great for small supplies like needles, sizzors, loom hooks, needle caps and more. I even have a change purse inside a large causemeticbag so I can separate items and also cary a plastic canvas project. Any kind of case that zipps is great! I also use the large pencil cases that Walmart used to sell. I bet I have about 10 of them, holding different canvas shapes, projects, tools and maybe unfinished projects.
They are bigger than a usual pencil case so even the parts for a cleanex box will fit inside.

Talking about storage, I bought a clear vase at Walmart for my needles. I then learned my friend has a quilted case for her needles. Her sister is going to get me one. Hope all my needles will fit in one. I never got a good look at hers so do not know how big it is, but I am sure it is bigger than those zipper cases, sold in the craft stores.

Snow, coming my way, oh my!!!

Terry P.

I keep my key on a key chain! It is so tiny it is easy to misplace.

I also keep a small Altoids tin in my knitting bag that holds the key, the connectors and the caps.

Sarah
It was the interchangeable circular needles that felt different in length. It's odd to feel those stitches hanging loosely off the end of the needle and on the thin cable. I used a thinner yarn and 20 stitches per row so there were stitches hanging below the shaft of the needle. I hope they keep their shape hanging loose like that.
And yes, using the key really locks those tips on. I must have knit for 2 hours last night and there was no hint those tips would start to loosen.
I think I'll play with some straight needles again tonight and see the difference in feel once more.
I'm not sure yet what I like or what I do best with - plastic, bamboo or a rougher wood, or metal.
