[Nfb-krafters-korner] Safety Pin beading

Theresa and Ken Taylor teaches here our safety pin beading classes.   They 
just finished off with quite anelaborate Country Church, class.   Amanda, 
their daughter teaches Pony bead classes and they are visually  impaired.  
That is why we are so lucky that they label things and make  things so good for 
us.
 
We will be having some great beading projects coming up in our Xmas in  
August classes.  Amanda has some pony bead Xmas ornaments she will be  
teaching.  Theresa has a couple delightful projects [like a teddy bear] we  will 
make out of safety pins and beads.

pins.  That's cool how their labeled in Braille-I wish all companies did

You can find some of the supplies in the craft stores, but  not all.   Some 
of the stores have some of the safety pins, but  not all the sizes.   Some 
of

the stores have some of the  plastic beads, but not all the shapes and 
sizes.
Bolick crafts that are  online  have kits and supplies, but  their website 
is
hard to  manage with our screen reading programs and shipping is expensive
from them  unless you hit $100 order and then shipping is free.

Theresa Taylor  sells the safety pin kits and label them in Braille and  
package  things in separate bags to help us blind handle them easily.
Theresa  
does not have her website up and going at this point, but her and  Amanda  
[her daughter] is on our list so just shout out and you will  get an email.
