I do not work with sock yarn and tiny needles, but I do use a toe-up sock
formula for knitting slipper socks or bed slippers.

If you want to learn, you can begin by knitting slipper socks with a large
needle size with bulky yarn. Joyce taught a class in that a few years ago -
