I am guessing the hat cought on the other loom, because there was nothing wrong with it when I originally finished it, o'my!!!  All that work, but life goes on!!!

 I took 2 looms to a meeting, Saturday.  I finished a hat and later that night, I took out the finished hat, to show a friend and to my surprise, there were 2 dangling loops near the top.  I tried to find the yarn and pull the loop, inside, but made more of a mess of my pretty hat.  I am a profectionest so it ended in the trash.  I knit to tight and this yarn splits easily, so I do not think it would servive, taking it apart.  I would rather start over.  
Also, I have a project or experiment I am trying and by looking at another, nonknitted sample, it should work, I can not get it to work.  I do not want to let the cat out of the bag, in case I or a friend can solve the mystory.  It is puzzling.  I think I might be using to thick yarn is the only solution.
