[Nfb-krafters-korner] Cindy, Hang in there

[Sahar's Beaded Creations]

Cindy, all you can do is take it day by day.  I don't know that this will provide any comfort, but I found this poem when grandma died.  For some reason, it gave me hope that she is with me all of the time.  She still visits me in my dreams, and I miss her, dreadfully, even though it's been twelve years.  Every time I visit the Middle East, I want to go to grandma's house, and I can't.  I want to share this poem with you.  I know I've shared it on list before, but I still find it to be timeless.

I am not There

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, 

I do not sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow,

I am the softly falling snow.

I am the gentle showers of rain,

I am the fields of ripening grain,

I am in the morning hush,

I am in the graceful rush

of birds encircling flight.

I am the star shine of the night.

I am in the flowers that bloom,

I am in a quiet room,

I am the birds that sing,

I am in each lovely thing.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there.

I did not die.
