In The local stores they sell only the large gauge looms. You have to go
online to find the different gauge looms. You can get the <Martha Stewart
adjustable loom, but don't bother with that at this point and many folks do
not like this loom from what I have heard from the looming lists that I am
on.

The loom set comes in a pack of 4, the largest has 41 pegs, 36 pegs, 31
pegs and 24 pegs. They used to be under the name of knifty knitter, but now
they are under another name. They should be about $12.00, if my memory is
correct. Michaels, maybe Walmart and other craft stores should have them.

So do I ask for large gauge looms when I go to get them! Does this mean
the pegs are bigger? Yeah, I'm sure looms can be expensive, so I'll have to
check and see what I can come up with. I know some of my questions may seem
elementary, but not having ever done loom knitting per se, I haven't a clue
about them. Sorry if I'm asking questions people might thing I should just
know! Smiles!

sizes, to make, for example, hats of different sizes. There are many kinds
of looms, after you get started, with different gages or spacings of the
pegs. We recommend you start with the large gage looms, until you get the
hang of looming. They are not expensive, but some of the other looms can
get a bit pricy. It all depends what you want to make.

we need two round looms? You said we need to get a set of them. I'll keep
this message and see what I can come up with as well as the yarn you
suggested. I'm glad the class is for beginners as well.

get details about that particular class. some are taught twice in a night,
but not most classes. some classes are via email instead of telephone
conference call. most classes begin at eight eastern time and run for two, three
or four weeks. in the class description you can find out if the class is
focused on the beginner or more advanced crafter. most classes are flexible.

this class as not yet been posted to the website, or list, but be on the look
out for it. get yourself a set of round looms with loom tool, and some
category 5 bulky weight yarn from your local craft shop or online and I will
be happy to help you get started looming a scarf.

to loom as well. its a fairly easy project and there will be a number of
experienced loom knitters there to help out. I have somewhat of a following
you see. <smile>
