Is it Jubalee? It has real big chunks and gets thin like rope and back to big chunkey sections. I have one scain and tried it on the loom. I think it will work better on needles. It was $8, but I got it on sale!

I was out for a visit yesterday to my knitting friends and I just have to tell you about this yarn one of them got. She got it in Michaels, but I don't know the name of it. Now I need to say her son who is 25 years old had to show me the scarf his Mom made out of it for him. The yarn all on the same ball had different textures, different weights and different strands of material type in it. It ranged from a bulky weight down to worstered or maybe a little thinner. It had maybe in areas a ribbon type going thru it. She used just a knit every row and not sure if it was size 8 or give or take on that for needle size. When you touched it you could feel it thicken in places. This young gentleman loved this scarf.
I will have to find out the name of this yarn for everyone.
