[Nfb-krafters-korner] learning to spin

Hi, Deidre!

Picking up a stitch that is a few rows down wouldn't cause it to become weak! Some people, however, pick them up from rows way down and that does tend to weaken the stitch! I'm sure that all you have been knitting is beautiful! Its with time and practice that we get better. I took a couple years break from knitting because my hands were so bad and that happens with constant change of weather! I couldn't believe that the last time I purchased from Lion Brand was in 2009! That was the year I started knitting again!

Thus far, I'm not creative either like some people are! I'm sure there will be those who will always exceed what I can accomplish, but as long as I do the best I can, someone will enjoy the gifts they receive from me, I hope! Smiles!

I've always wanted to learn to latch hook. A friend asked how I'd separate the colors of yarn and I mentioned that I'd use ziplock bags and mark the colors in braille! Smiles! Latch hooking is for a time in the future. Crocheting is something someone tried to teach me, but I couldn't pick it up. Who knows! In the future, I might try that as well! Beautiful borders can be crocheted onto afghans and scarves! Smiles!

Have a lovely visit and give yr dog a huge hug f me6

,hugs
