[Nfb-krafters-korner] projects

My understanding is that you wear a circular shawl by folding over a portion
of the outer edge so that it makes a sort-of collar over your shoulders.
I've never tried to wear one, so I do not know how this will work. My
attraction to this is the Math behind the pattern. Now this actual pattern
does not follow Elizabeth Zimmerman's formula exactly, but it is close. I
might eventually use this or a similar pattern to make a round afghan.

I do like unusual patterns, like entraloc and patterns that use short rows
to create a shape other than a square or rectangle. Some where I have a few
patterns for a round washcloth. The formula used in the pattern would allow
you to make a bigger circle for something as big as an afghan or a rug.

Okay, I looked at this pretty shawl and I understand that this makes a large
circle with a small center hole, but how are you suppose to wear it? Your
head certainly can't go through the center? I also would rather use a size
8 circular like you are doing.
