We will have 2 beginners loom classes in Jan. 2014. One will be an email
class and one will be a telephone conference class. They will be making
2 different things not on the same loom. So please may I suggest it might
be beneficial to take both of these classes and I would think this would
give you practice and 2 completed nice items for the winter.

I do not feel comfortable saying what the items are right now as I am not
sure if class proposals were submittede over the weekend. To keep it fair
to the teachers I have not set dates before I left on Friday. So until
class proposals are submitted the teachers have the right to change their minds
 on the class project.

I did love the two suggested projects, but sit tight...

Okay,

I've been reading many of these posts. Usually, I simply pass over any
posts about loom knitting since I don't know how to do it. Now that there
are classes scheduled and I'm contemplating taking one, I'm reading the
posts. It seems to me that there are two classes, a basic loom class and
this afghan one. Am I correct in that? I believe I need to take the
basic
class first, than another one. Am I also correct about that? I hope I
have
this straight. Also, I like the idea of both e-mail and phone classes.
the
only thing I like better aobut the phone is that the instructor is there
and
I can speak with him or her directly. I'm interested to see how an e-mail
class will work when I take the crochet class.

Regards,

Denise

Hi,
No, you do not need to use a r9und loom. It is knitted as a flat piece.
Yes,
your afghan loom will be find as long as you have 120 pegs which I believe
it does.

It has to be a round room? Is it going to be sewn as a flat panel? I'm just
wondering if this would be a good project for my new afghan loom. Thanks.
