Hi All,

After I finished the knitted Mitered square baby blanket just over a month
ago, I put off dealing with the knitted on edging for my Elizabeth Zimmerman
knitted Pi Shawl.  I tackled the knitted braided ball with some yarn that I
had left over in the colors of white, light blue and navy.  Now that I've
got the hang of how to make the braided ball, I went out and bought yarn in
the colors of black, white and red so that I can make the braided ball as a
baby gift.  I haven't started the ball as I told myself that I need to
finish the Pi shawl.  So that is what I've been working on.  I settled on a
knitted on edging that uses a 3 over 3 cable.  This gives the effect of a
twisted rope around the circumference of the shawl.  Thus far I have 30 of
the 96 pattern repeats completed.  So maybe if I push myself, I will have it
done within the next 10 days.

I really wanted to take Joyce's napkin basket class, but it just did not fit
into my schedule.  I am also tossing around the idea of teaching some
classes next year, but I'm really not sure when I will have time to plan
them or even teach them.  Advancing my loom knitting skills is also on my
To-Do list, but again thee is just not enough time.

Wow you are a busy bee.  I need to get more sets of needles especially
circular ones.  I only have 1 set. lol
