Hello Deb and Others,

Welcome to the list.  My name is Denise Shaible and I live in Sacramento, 
CA.  I really enjoy doing crafts and I know you'll enjoy it, too.  The only 
thing is that there are so many interesting classes.  That's not a bad 
thing, unless you're like me and do too much.  I'm sure you'll find crafts 
to do and that you'll get any questions answered.

Deb, have you considered joining the Human Services Division of the NFB? 
We're working on taking exams right now in our Policy and Laws Committee and 
I know we can help you if you're having any problems taking those exams you 
mentioned.  If you'd like more details, you can write me off list at:

Hi friends,

I have been reading this list for about a month.  I am in Louisville, KY and

just received my M.Div with plans to be a teaching elder (minister) in the
Presbyterian Church (USA).  There are two ordination exams standing in my
way right now.

I have been knitting for nearly 40 years and crocheting for 35 or so.  I
haven't done much work requiring attention to gauge as I normally do
afghans, prayer shawls and the like.  I recently bought some looms but
haven't made anything with them yet.  I'm not even sure which is used for
what yet.  I plan to take a beginner's class in January.

Thanks to Joyce for this list and to everyone who makes it a friendly and
accepting place to be.
