Can I use the chord sold by the plastic canvas at Michael's? If not this, what kind of chord do you mean, how thick?

Hi,

I will be teaching a loom knit lace cover for a Christmas ball ornament on December 5, 2013 at 8PM EST, 7pm central, 6 PM mountain and 5PM pacific. It is really pretty to dress up a simple and plain Christmas ball. You could make several to dress up your tree or give as small token's of friendship during the Christmas season. You will need:

12 peg flower loom, I am working on adapting it for the 24 peg round loom as well

1 skane of metallic thin yarn or cord

medium size shatter proof Christmas ball

loom tool

tapestry needle

I believe you could use beads as well on your yarn or cord to give this project extra appeal!

I bought some very inexpensive cord from Consumer crafts and also some Premier " Spangle " yarn from Walmart to make my balls with. Consumer crafts is having a $1.97 shipping deal today for purchase $25 or more. So Go sign up and get your supplies!

Jill
