Thanks so much.  I didn't see a #2 pin in the supply list, only #1 and #3. 
I'll check the pattern again but, I don't remember seeing it.  anyway,

Hi Denise and anyone else who needs this information,



I was asked by Terry to post the measurements for the safety pins used in
the star class, because she will be unavailable for a few days. These
measurements are not exact, however they are approximately the size needed
to make the star.



Safety pin measurements for star:

Safety pin 1. 1 and a half inches.

Safety pin 2. about 2 inches.

Safety pin 3. 3 and a half inches.
