[Nfb-krafters-korner] Looking for a Wavy Knit Pattern

Annette,

I looked up that pattern on the Lion Brand web site and it looks like a cool
pattern. I'll have to give it a whirl and see what happens. If anyone is
looking for a wavy knit pattern, maybe Google that and see what happens. I
find that you need to put free pattern or you'll get lots of stuff you don't
want.

I'm interested in a man's broken rib cardigan pattern. I have a pullover
one from Lion Brand but, I really want a cardigan.

If people don't know what the broken rib stitch looks like, it's a k2, p 2
rib row on the right side and a k row on the wrong side. It looks so cool.
I'm currently making a scarf with it.

Regards,

Denise

Hi Catherine,

Well, at this point I still have not found a pattern that does what I want.
If you are referring to the "Deep Blue Lace Scarf" pattern, it can be found
on Lion Brand.

Hi All,

I am looking for a pattern to incorporate into a knitted cowl. I will be
knitting it like a scarf and seaming the ends together. I want the edges to
be wavy. So for example if the pattern repeat is 8 rows, maybe Row 2 and 7
will have a slight reduction in the stitch count causing the edges to be
pulled in. I found a pattern from Lion Brand called "Deep Blue Lace Scarf"
which does exactly this. The only problem with the pattern is that it has a
17 stitch repeat and I am finding it difficult to memorize an entire row.
So I am having to repeatedly refer back to my phone where the pattern is
stored. I do most of my knitting while I am commuting and this is just not
working for me. So I am looking for an easier pattern.

I've got access to the Barbara Walker Stitch Dictionaries, so if you have
recommendations from there or any other sources, just let me know.

Thanks for any ideas,

Annette
