Hi,
I totally agree!  We had a great time as always with Cathy our patient and
expert loomer!  It was a extra treat to have Renee Van Hoy with us!  She was
so kind and helpful to us all.  I am like Cathy, in that I don't know which
book to purchase first.  Where but Krafters Korner would you get a class and
get to meet the designer as well!  Great job to Cathy and Barb for inviting
her!

We had a really enjoyable  time learning to make our shawls tonight. it was
a special treat to have the shawl designer, Renee Van Hoy, join us.  she
shared with us about how she became a loom knit designer.  And her story was
an inspiration to us all. She also told us about her blog where we could
find free patterns and inexpensive e-books full of loom knit patterns all in
a speech-friendly format.  I want to say a public thank you to Renee for a
truly enjoyable time.

I believe I will purchase one of her books. It is so difficult to choose
since all of them sound great, but "the shapely Loom," appeals to me at the
moment because there are tutorials for making items in squares, circles and
triangles.
