Hi Cathy,
Sounds like a fun time. Thanks for sharing the blog info. I took a quick
look as I'm hoping to find a pattern or book for beginners. Maybe the dragon
tail scarf would be a place to start. Now I just have to find the time to do
all these really neat things.
Thanks,
Catherine J

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] loom knit shawl class

Hello all,

We had a really enjoyable time learning to make our shawls tonight. it was
a special treat to have the shawl designer, Renee Van Hoy, join us. she
shared with us about how she became a loom knit designer. And her story was
an inspiration to us all. She also told us about her blog where we could
find free patterns and inexpensive e-books full of loom knit patterns all in
a speech-friendly format. I want to say a public thank you to Renee for a
truly enjoyable time.

I believe I will purchase one of her books. It is so difficult to choose
since all of them sound great, but "the shapely Loom," appeals to me at the
moment because there are tutorials for making items in squares, circles and
triangles.

Don't forget to check out her blog at:
