yes there are some different ways, the problem is having looms with enough
pegs to make a shawl big enough depending on the size you want. I did one a
few months ago and it was actually smaller than I personally wanted, so give
me some time to do a little looking around and I'll find something.

Mel, can you see pictures at all?? There are tons of loom knit patterns
online, let me know what your looking for and  I'll see what I can find for
you.
