Thanks Joyce for this info. I believe you can
Use 3 ply or baby weigh yarn for tie on also. I have also used M and M's in
wrap and tied on for this wreath, but did not think of Lifesavers, thanks.

the Candy wreath, Theresa how much candy did you suggest to make the candy
wreath for an 8 inch ring? I had bought most of the candy in like 1 pound
bags and basically bought a variety of different types of candy and made up
several of the wreaths. So I am not sure how much or how many pound bags to
get per wreath. You need to get the candy that his wrapped in plastic
preferably that has a twisted end on both ends to tie it to the wreath.
Jolly Ranchers, Carmel Chews, Peppermint candy, hard candy individually
wrapped, mini life saver rolls [this one you need to use a metal yarn
needle and thread the yarn thru the roll. I can't remember other candy
names. I did use serran wrap and plastic wrap and put chocolate kiss in
the wrap and tie it on with yarn. So you can be creative and the Ddollar
store you can
find different candy that you can use, too. This is not a bad time to
start gathering and looking for candy to make candy wreaths out of for the
holidays.

You can also get kite string this time of the year that you can use to tie
the candy on with, too.

Joyce,
I ordered by rings for class but needed to know if you remember how many
pounds of mints were needed to make the wreath on this size ring. I
believed it was between 2 and 2 and 1/2 pounds but unsure if that was for
this size ring, if you remember please drop me a message. Thanks.
