Hello,

I’ve been asked by several folks to expand on my description for the
items on the supply list. I hoep it is okay that I am posting to the
entire list. Perhaps, it myight entice you to sign up. I don’t want to
give away my entire class, so please realize I am not going to be that
lengthy with ideas here. I’m simply trying to describe the items on
the supply list so you can dig around in your craft boxes and see if
you already have these items.

supplies needed:

1. Head pins (preferably 2 inches or longer).
Head pins are similar in look and feel to a needle, in my humble
opinion. They can be an inch long or three inches. They are a thin
metal item with a pointy end and a round, flat, or other shaped end.
Basically, a stopper for preventing beads from sliding off.

2. Split rings (small jump rings with a split).
Think key ring but not as big. Some are completely closed and some
have a split that your nail can fit into.

3. Earring wire (your favorite kind; I like fish hook shaped wire or
the kind with levers that close).
This is the part of the earring that goes into your ear. Truly, you
can buy anything. Just make sure it has a loop at the bottom that can
be connected to other objects.

4. Beads (a few beads that can be threaded onto the head pin of your choice).
Here is where the onus of creativity falls on you. You don’t need many
beads, but you need some beads to form a pretty pattern or look to
your earrings. An example, is the pair I am wearing today that I
purchased but know I can replicate. I have a large square black bead
(maybe half of an inch across) as the center bead on the head pin.
Below it and above it are two beads that are a frosted white color.
They aren’t round but they aren’t facetted. They are just this cool
shape. And that’s it. The earrings are very simple and only made with
three beads.

5. Round nose pliers.
Pliers that have two rounded cylinders that can be used to take a wire
and bend it into a loop.

6. Wire cutters or a good pair of scissor.
Implements that can cut wire or a thin head pin.
