Well, Paulette, I will do that.
After all, it is MY unbirthday, too. And, I have had flu symptoms, in other
words feeling really yukky for five days now, so I am gonna have some hot
tea with honey in ti too. I gotta ab better by tomorrow because I am going
to meet with a gallery director in the afternoon to set up a schedule fot he
Vision and Revision exhibition - two blind visual artist - me and Suzanne
Gibson who is a painter. We now have THREE shows lined up with galleries,
and we want to get THREE MORE. I have spent this entire day working on the
sales procedures for the opening reception for the first venue to be sure it
runs smoothly.

OH, I would LOVE to have you nearby Paulette - we could have TEA together
often. After nearly six years of sight loss, I am still missing the ability
to go wherever ai want and whenever I want - it's been very difficult to
adjust to have to depend on others to get places. But, I certainly am
thankful for the times I do get out and for those who take me with them.
Most of all, for the dear artist friends who still know I love art shows and
take me to them. I love art as much as I always have, and it does not
matter if I cannot see thing very well, I know their presence and I can feel
it. And, when my friends describe things, I do see them in my mind. Cheers
to all today. Lynda

Oh Linda,

You sound like an oasis of love and calm. I wish that I could meet you. It
sounds like you have a lot of tactile and beautiful memories close at hand.
Please do use your own delicate cup and saucer if you haven't already.

Paulette

ah, Paulette, how delicious your chocolate was! I can taste it over here in

western Pennsylvania, as the cool afternoon breeze gently flows into my
office. I sit here and write, surrounded by the sounds of the late summer
insects out there in the woods. My husband is running the sweeper, and I
just finished dusting everything in the downstairs. Now, time to do
something else, like type up some things that need to be taken care of
today.
I know what you mean by the feel of the cup - so elegant - and so precious -

and light. I love those old china teacups. My mother collected them and
after she died we gave one to each of the girls in the family - I put mine
on a special shelf in my bathroom. I know that is a strange place for a tea
cup! But, that shelf is part of the decor of the bathroom. It hold precious
little things that are treasures and things that would be lost or tucked
away in a cupboard unseen and out-of-mind. This way, I remember my mother
every time I am in my bathroom! I do have several of her precious things
around the house and in the kitchen, too, and things from other relatives
who have passed on. These things are a way of keeping their memories and I
treasure them.
I think I need to write about my mother's teacups - one day when I am at the

computer and doing some creative writing. But, here's to you, Paulette. I
raise my cup and smile - and send you a lovely afternoon of small and
precious moments. Lynda

Hi Linda,

It sounds like you had a lovely and wonderful seventieth birthday. I
thoroughly enjoyed reading about it. I just finished drinking my cocoa
which had been whipped with an emertion blender to make it creamy. Now that
was a little bit of heaven. I think they should start manufacturing and
selling delicate cups and saucers as well as dinner ware again. My cup was
so light I felt like I was drinking from air.

Hello Paulette,
I read your birthday message with a smile. It was so nice and you wrote it

so well. I also send you my very best wishes for a wonderful day.
Today is my un-birthday and I often celebrate it, too. I just fixed myself a

nice cup of Kauai coffee from Hawaii, I turned the big seven-0 on August
28th, so I gave myself a lovely day. My sister came to visit me for the day;

we had lunch at the Mexican restaurant that we enjoy. We must have been
there about two hours talking and laughing. Later, when we were back at my
house, we ate décadent creamy cake together. She even brought me a little
bouquet of flowers. I just had to throw them out a few days ago so I got to

enjoy them a long time. I had other visits on other days with more birthday

good wishes from children. My best friend paid for my pedicure - we had made

our appointment to go together but when it was my turn to pay for mine, the
lady told me it was paid for - and my friend said, "Happy Birthday." Thanks

for sharing your day with us, too. Happy un-birthday to all. Lynda
