Hi all,

This is an ornament I have been making for years. It starts with a clear
glass Christmas ball ornament; the kind that has a little metal top with a
ring for hanging on the tree that can be removed. You will need several,
because they do tend to break easily while being recreated into a glass
popcorn ball ornament.

Popcorn Filled glass Ball Ornament

Fill those thin glass balls with popcorn! It's easy. Works best if made 1
at
a time.

Remove the metal top.

Place 15-25 kernels of popcorn in the ornament.

Place the ornament in a paper bag and put in the microwave for 1-2
minutes.

Listen carefully, you may not need to leave them in for

a full two minutes.

When the popcorn slows down and almost stops popping, remove the paper bag
from the microwave and remove the glass ball ornament carefully, it will be
extremely hot. Sprinkle some glitter in if you like.

Replace metal top when filled glass popcorn ball ornament is cool.

Tie a pretty ribbon on the top and hang from your tree.

Enjoy!

Paulette
