Joyce;
You are short, just like me! See if you can get a shallow cabinet That is about a foot taller than you and it will make a great pantry. I have short arms and can not lift heavy things, any more or reach very far.

Once they move me to the first floor I am going to have to find all new places to keep things in place. At least 1 great thing is that I will have a walk in pantry with cabinets in the kitchen. As I am short like 4 feet 9 inches, the kitchen cabinets I have now I can only reach the bottom shelf in the cabinets hanging on the wall. They are going to move my kitchen cabinets that are on the third floor down to the first floor and I plan on them putting those wall cabinets down a little lower maybe and defintely have a place for my step up ladder thinging and a pantry with shelves down to maybe 20 inchees off the floor and even a couple of built in draws. When I lived down on the first floor before I had those coffee cup hangers screwed into some wood in the pantry and hung my pots there. Maybe they are still there.

This old house is going to need some fixin, but Michael is willing. He
pulled the sink out on the first floor today from the kitchen.

During this winter when Dan needed lots of help and I was sore and didn't want to bend and find those pesky old slippers, I put them in the bottom drawer of my bedside table. lol Henrietta On Apr 8, 2014, at 9:27 PM, Blindhands at aol.com wrote:
