Hi Sandra,
Being from South Africa, I have the same problem. I have attended a few
chats or classes that were scheduled so it fell at around 8 in the evening
for me, which was really wonderful and then I did get up at 4 a.m. for
another class too (smile).  We also have members from Australia and I think
even for those living in the U.S. the different time zones can be a
challenge. KK have always been so wonderful in this way, always trying to
include everyone, for which I will always be thankful. 
Introducing e-mail classes has enabled me to not only join more classes but
I have also taught through this method. I will be presenting another origami
e-mail class soon, but more on that in another message.
If I can pluck up the courage, I would love to teach a sewing project. There
are so many interesting patterns and ideas out there, but often they need
someone to see the pictures or illustrations to figure out the project. I
love to read on the Internet, especially about patternless projects or DIY
projects like pillow case dresses, capes, tank tops, shawls, straight
skirts, etc.
I have used some of my existing clothing as a pattern to make some basic
tops, with occasional success. I find it difficult to work on intricate
details, hence I prefer to make simple garments. I have an electronic sewing
machine which I have mastered the basics of, but I haven't gone much beyond
the basic functions of the machine, though I'd love to one day.

obtain it? I'm pretty sure the chats start at 8:00 or 9:00pm Eastern
