quite new to all of this, please explain how email classes happen.  That is,

They are so much appreciated.
I have responded to Melissa off list, but for any new members, origami is
the art of paper folding. If you are looking for something fun to do, why
not give my e-mail class a go? One of the things I like about origami is
that you can fold many useful things, boxes in all shapes and sizes being a
favourite of mine.
This class is for an open pyramid box. Come and join the class even if you
have not done origami before. 
Also, if you would like my other text-only origami instructions, feel free
to write to me at stephlin at iafrica.comm.
If you have volume 1 only, I have recently added ten more models and these
are available as Accessible Origami Volume 2. I am also working on Volume 3.

I revise the instructions on an ongoing basis, so if you find any mistakes,
please let me know. I try to be as accurate as possible, but mistakes do
creep in at times.

I believe we have one of the best teachers and experts on list of this
craft. Please go to our website and you will find a link to Lindy from South
Africa who has taught us many of her crafts from a wallet to a box and now
the triangle box coming up in September. I have learned so much from her
already from her website of many patterns and she has explained the many
folds and papers and the rest. I do not think you will find any better then
Lindy anywhere for your questions.

Hi.
Does anyone know where to find information on origami for beginners?  My
friend in Illinois wants to learn the basics of origami.  She has
instructions on making different things, however, it doesn't give any basic
information on folds or anything like that.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
