I think in some places they do have weekend events; I know Michigan does for a fact. As to stamina, the skiing is paced to your ability and endurance.
You're working with an individual guide, so the sessions are tailored to your needs as a skier. I'm not the most athletic either, so have requested to go easier this year especially since it's my first time doing this. As to people being critical, that's their weakness, not yours; you are who you are and can do what you can do; what others think of that doesn't matter.

I wish I could try Ski for Light but only like 3 days because I'm scared I don't have the health for it and the stamina It was on my bucket list.  I probably won't like the cold and how snow makes everything wet and don't know what the blind people are like.
