What brought you to Alaska?  

PS  Do you have a favorite chord for Kumihimo?  I am using a thick yarn but wonder if it's too soft.

Very carefully, with faithful reliance on good, sturdy ice cleats. And I don't rush anything. Takes a bit of practice, but I eventually did get the hang of it. But I've taken my share of splats over the 6 years I've been here.

How do you get around on all that ice?  Years ago, I tried to go to work, when I shouldn't have and I slipped on a sheet of ice and fell half way under a cab!
Our Metro Access for handicapped uses cabs and vans.
