[Nfb-krafters-korner] rake loom loom clips

Hi Minh,
Ok, you do have a peg on each side of the long loom in theory to allow you to knit in the round,
however if you tried to knit all of the way around you would find that there would be a large gap
or hole in your work where the ends connected to the sides of the loom. This is caused by a defect
in the construction of the looms. (the pegs on the end pegs are farther apart from the side pegs
than the side pegs are from one another. This causes a gap in your knitting on the sides. . Thus
comes in the use of a loom clip. This is a peg that is placed anywhere on the loom to adjust for
the spacing so that the end pegs are the correct distance from the side pegs. You can use this clip
to make something in the round that is smaller than the entire loom. Thus for example, you could
use a 24-peg long loom as a flower loom using only 12 pegs of the loom by placing in the loom clip
as a peg in the correct spot.

It is a bit tricky to find these clips and it is also a bit tricky to attach them to the loom. We
who have had experience with them have found that the clips only work on the actual Provo craft
knifty knitter looms and not on the off brands.

This is on the same lines as when I suggested that folks ask for a wedge peg for their oval combo
looms.

Hope this helps.
Cathy
